How do i get rid of birds in my yard?

Not unless the park is REALLY close to your yard. I would suggest getting a bird feeder and putting on the edge of your property - away from where your dog is (and his food). As long as there is food at your place they will keep coming back so you need to move the food away from where you don't want them. Or alternatively you could always get a cat! I don't know if that is an option since you have a dog, but if you get an outside cat it would definitely keep the birds away!
