I need help in my midterm essey plzz help just to start ir?

People are uninformed because they don't care. If they really cared about what was going on they would follow politics more, they would watch CSPAN more, seeing how their representatives are representing them, watching the media to see how they are portraying it, reading the internet to see how they are interpreting it. The only way they start to care is when policy really starts to effect their lives personally, that's why older people tend to follow it more than younger people. One of the best approaches is sadly by using what politicans use...the scare tactic. Scare people into wanting to know more about what is going on. You could put a billboard right in front of their face, but if they don't care, they won't see it. The best apporach would be to find a way to get them to connect with how politics is affecting them.
