How can I remove haze on furniture top from scrubbing bubbles action scrubber?

I left pads containing sc johnson scrubbing bubbles action scrubber on the top of my dresser. Even in a zip-lock bag, the pads managed to put a haze on the top of the dresser. It is the kind of haze that can be seen in direct light from an angle. The MSDS states that the pad contains lactic acid and a mild solvent. I have tried Pledge, but wanted to get help here before I tried anything else.
