Without violating law, is there a way for me to obtain LSD, in its purest form, and take it legally in the US?

If not in the USA, is there anywhere in the world where I can get LSD in a truly pure form and ingest it legally? I feel like it would be a waste of my life to not do this, to not experience the full gambit of opportunities available through modern science. I want to open the doors of perception and see things from new viewpoints in all walks of life. I honestly would not care if I was a lab experiment in this situation. I'm not a loser who just goes through life looking for free ways to get high or something, I just want to see what it's like to take acid. I have heard a lot of good things about it and a lot of bad things too, but I'm willing to take that leap of faith by trying it. Any help or information on this subject, and any pointing in the right direction would be much appreciated.
